I’m really excited to be visiting Blackpool for 2015’s Wordpool Festival.  I’ll be talking at the Central Library at 11am on Thursday 2nd July, and there will be elevenses (pastries, coffee, tea).  I used to live just up the road in Lancaster, so am really looking forward to being back in that part of the country.  Please do come along if you can make it! Click on the poster for all the details, and the rest of the Wordpool programme.  Hope to see you there.

If you’d like to come, … Read More

Lancaster litfest

Just a quick heads up to say that I’ll be reading at Lancaster Litfest on the 18th October, along with the wonderful Amy Sackville, author of The Still Point.  I actually did my first ever reading at Lancaster Litfest a few years ago, and since I pretty much learned how to write while living in Lancaster it will be a very special one for me. I hope you can make it.  Things kick off at 7:30 and all the details are here…

I’m doing a couple of events next week that it would be great to see folks at. The first is on Wednesday 28th at Reigate Library at 7:30, where I’ll be talking about The Girl with Glass Feet.  It should be a fun chance to chat about the book and enjoy a glass of wine.  All the details are here. The second event is on Thursday 29th at Blackwell’s Oxford, with fellow novelist Roma Tearne.  Roma is spending that week in residency in the book shop, and all week long she’s going to be running a polling station there.  You’ll be able … Read More
